Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to a Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to her Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent of both Indian and Russian. At age 11 she created a choreography that gained her an appearance on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden, who turns into a playful Indian dancer. Following her graduation from high school at the age of 11 in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied acting classes in the HB Studios. She later went on to study improv comedy at The Groundlings School. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father in Kabul in Afghanistan. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. TV actress best known for her role as the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. The actress is famous for the roles she has played on Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
